Daylesford Holiday Park

Relax amongst the towering sequoia trees and spacious, manicured gardens of our tranquil park. You could be forgiven for thinking you have escaped to a remote bushy retreat and yet it's just a short walk to the beautiful township of Daylesford – the spa capital of Australia - and our famous and very picturesque, Lake Daylesford.

Your holiday begins in one of three uniquely furnished lotus belle tents. Each offers a spacious Queen sized bed topped with luxuriously comfortable bedding, cosy seating, coffee and tea maker, mini fridge and sound system. And you can sip a glass of local wine or craft beer on your private deck.

Wombat State Forest

Wombat State Forest is a magnet for the adventurous. With walking & cycling trails, four wheel driving, trail bike riding, camping and wildlife spotting you can explore until your heart is content.

Forest Fire Management Victoria have built a mobile phone app for iPhones (Android version to follow in mid 2018) called More To Explore which aims to provide information to help people use and enjoy Victoria’s 3.1 million hectares of State forest and its network of approximately 400 visitor sites and 250 recreational trails. Jubilee Lake

Just minutes drive from the town centre of Daylesford; Jubilee Lake is a quiet and relaxing place to visit.

There are a range of activities for all including; BBQ facilities, walking trails, a mineral water spring, canoe and paddle boat hire, a playground, caravan park and kiosk. Originally known as ‘Hepburn Goldfields Reservoir’, Jubilee Lake was built to supply water to the local gold mines during the 1860’s gold rush. Now a premier, family friendly fishing location stocked regularly with rainbow trout, Jubilee Lake is a must do whilst in the area.

Walk the lake circuit and stop at the mineral spring to refresh with some of this areas famous mineral water. You can link up with the Goldfields Trail from Jubilee Lake and walk into Daylesford. Visit in autumn and experience the changing colours of the trees surrounding Jubilee Lake.
