Luxury Farm Cottage Accommodation
Picturesque, pretty, private and peaceful, Amaroo Farm offers up to five guests luxury farm cottage serviced accommodation: it is nestled amidst 80 acres of undulating prime farming country. The cottage has a beautiful English cottage garden surrounding the east and south side, with roses on the west, whilst the north side contains variegated hedging.
It is secluded and private: The kitchen is modern and fully equipped: the living room/dining has a Ned Kelly wood stove (unlimited wood and kindling kept in a wood shed next to the cottage) with electric heaters in the bedrooms for additional warmth in winter. There is a well-appointed bathroom, (shower and bath) toilet and full laundry facilities.
Electric fans in all rooms provide respite for summer months, as does the ability to open both lounge and master bedroom doors out onto the deck.
An outdoor dining suite, an umbrella for shade and a BBQ provide you with the option to eat and relax outside.
Enjoy the complimentary breakfast starter or purchase a voucher for breakfast from your hosts to spend at the Glenlyon store. We also provide complimentary coffee, tea, milk and sugar. All linen and soap are provided. All you need to bring are your personal belongings, food and beverages.

Wombat Discovery Tours
Nocturnal guided Tours of the Wombat State Forest, explore the forest by night and see amazing animals like Wombats, Kangaroos, Owls, Possums and Bats. It's a very fun, informative and affordable tour that will leave you with a better understanding and appreciation of our beautiful forest. Overwrought Sculpture Garden and Gallery
Overwrought Sculpture Garden and Gallery is an inspiring creative retail enterprise set on five acres of lush farmland in Blampied, Central Victoria just eight minutes from Daylesford on the Midland Highway to Ballarat. Artist David Dawson creates his uniquely Australian sculptural metalwork designs in his extensive workshop. He then displays them next door in the rustic hay-shed gallery and beautifully landscaped garden setting that he has created. His creations include garden art, native Australian animals and birds, furniture, wall art, magnetic creatures, privacy screens and much more. The gallery also offers the art and produce of thirty local and fair trade artisans, many whose work is not available to purchase elsewhere. For your enjoyment Overwrought provides toilets, coffee,drinks and ice creams and picnicking areas. Extensive parking is available for all vehicles including caravans and buses. The kids can even feed our fish in our garden ponds and pat an alpaca or two.
