Ever wondered how to turn apples from your own backyard into crisp, delicious cider?

Join in at Daylesford Cider for Backyard to Bottle - a hands-on session that blends practical tips for home cider making with insights into how they do it on a larger scale. Learn about apple varieties and how they shape flavour, how to balance sweetness, fermentation lengths, and the best approaches to bottling. Along the way you will taste cider at different stages of fermentation, and finish with a guided tasting of three finished ciders that each showcase a different style and technique.

They are also thrilled to welcome the team from Hepburn Springs Brewing Co. The owners behind this independent brew-pub and distillery in nearby Hepburn Springs will present a 20 minute session introducing  the full brewing process.

The presentation will cover each major stage - malting, mashing, fermentation, and packaging. They will be offering a clear and engaging look at how quality beer is crafted from start to finish.

This one-off, unique event is perfect for the curious backyard cider maker/brewer or anyone wanting a deeper appreciation of the craft of cider.
